Create Wearable Art!

Things will need:
White Shirt
Plastic Bag
Rubber Bands
1-3 packets of kool aid, different flavors (colors)
Eye dropper or spoon
Gloves
Water
Cups

1. Take rubber bands and randomly rap around white shirt.

2. Choose Kool Aid Packets. Put single packet into one cup of water and stir.

3. Put plastic gloves on hands to protect from dye, Kool Aid. (make sure to cover work area with plastic, newspaper, wax paper or towel to keep clean of dye stain)

4. Take spoon or eye drop to get dye from cup and randomly pour or drop dye onto white shirt.

5. Do not take off rubber bands. Take wet dyed shirt place into plastic bag and let dry over night.

6. When shirt is completely dry take off rubber bands and iron or put in dryer to set stain.

This project is great for Pajama Parties for guest. To personalize dyed shirt purchase fabric markers or scribble paint and let children write their names on shirt. This can also be done with a pillow case. Purchase glow in the dark paint to personalize and bring tons of enjoyment. Small children Love to drift of to sleep admiring their pillow case...
